In this course students will gain an understanding of the basic world that surrounds them each day of their lives as well as the forces in creation, giving them real-world relevance of scientific inquiry and the beauty of creation. Other topics include the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, weather, the structure of the earth, environmentalism, the physics of motion, Newton’s Laws, gravity, and astrophysics.
