This course covers the subject of matter and elements that make up God’s creation. Topics covered in the first semester include general overall chemistry, such as scientific measurement, atoms and molecules, classification of matter, chemical equations, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, atomic and molecular structure, and stoichiometry. The second semester will include how chemistry is involved in solutions, gases, acids/bases, oxidation/reduction reactions, energy and heat, thermodynamics, kinetics, and chemical equilibrium. Students will participate in lab experiments and a scientific method experiment project.  This Chemistry class will be using the Berean Builders publisher.
